Welcome to our library resource guide for the 12th annual FSCJ Author Series Learning Community, featuring Craig Grossi's memoir, Craig & Fred. Use the tabs above to navigate the guide. The main themes of Craig & Fred are resilience in the face of adversity, the effects of post-traumatic stress, and the positive impact of therapy animals, and you will find resources discussing these themes at the top of each section of the LibGuide. Craig Grossi

Craig Grossi is an eight-year Marine Corps veteran and a recipient of the Purple Heart. After returning from Afghanistan, he worked for the Defense Intelligence Agency and attended Georgetown University. When not traveling with Fred, he works intensively with veteran organizations, including the USA Warriors Ice Hockey Program and the Tragedy Assistance Programs for Survivors (TAPS). He and Fred live in Washington, DC. You can find them online at www.fredtheafghan.com.
