LLC Locations COVID-19: Online Tutoring

As a part of FSCJ's response to COVID-19 concerns, the LLC has transitioned to offering all tutoring services online. All of the College's on-campus tutors have moved to a virtual environment so that they may continue to provide academic support to FSCJ's students.  The FSCJ tutors have been integrated into the Brainfuse platform and are able to provide tutoring to FSCJ students through an application called Tutor Match. Through Tutor Match, you can schedule appointments with FSCJ tutors in a variety of subject areas. One of the great new features that we are offering through Tutor Match is audio-enabled sessions. This will allow you to converse with the tutor via your computer's audio or a toll-free phone connection.  There are no monthly usage caps if you choose to use Tutor Match.  We encourage you to use Tutor Match as your primary source of tutoring support and supplement by connecting with Brainfuse tutors during the hours when FSCJ's tutors are not available for appointments, keeping in mind that there is a monthly cap of 90 minutes of usage for Live Help and Writing Lab services provided by the Brainfuse tutors.  We also remind you that there are number of free academic and collaborative tools--such as Skill Surfer, Flashbulb, and Meet-- that are available in Brainfuse.  These tools are free to use and accessible 24 hours a day.  We invite you to take a look at the how-to videos and other user resources that are posted on this page so that you can familiarize yourself with the system. We look forward to the opportunity to support your academic success.
