Library and OER Resources to Help Reduce the Cost of Textbooks
FSCJ Librarians Amber Strickland and Elisabeth Ball will provide information about library online resources that faculty can use to learn about incorporating OER into courses as well as useful OER repositories (e.g., Open Education Network, OpenStax). Several Canvas integrations with library online resources (e.g., LibGuides, PrepStep) will be shared as well as Canvas Commons learning units.

Using Developed OER Online Content in Multiple Modalities
The FSCJ's Center for eLearning has developed OER courses that can be adapted for any modality. In this presentation, we’ll tour several developed OER courses and discuss strategies and resources available to modify the content to suit a variety of instructor preferences.
