Tembi Locke is a native of Houston, TX, and an author, actress, and food activist currently residing in Los Angeles. Her television and film roles include appearances on NCIS, My Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, Bones, and Dumb and Dumber To. Through her websites thekitchenwidow.com and tembilocke.com, she stresses the importance of story-telling and home/community gardens in the processes of caregiving, illness, grieving, and social justice.
