Purpose of Page

This page offers information on how to see Italy via the virtual reality headsets in the Library and Learning Commons. 

Campuses with VR Headsets

Visit one of the campuses listed below on any Thursday from 10 am - 6 pm during February. You will use the virtual reality headsets to enjoy places in Italy such as Venice, Rome, Milan and more!  You can even experience what it is like to be inside the Colosseum or on a gondola ride in Venice.

How to Use VR Headsets

This video shows you what to expect inside of the headset as well as the steps to take so you can see Italy in 360 degrees.

 

Steps:

  1. Be sure to be on the FSCJ Wireless WiFi connection (use your FSJ student ID and password as username and password).
  2. Find and click on the YouTube app on the Home screen.
  3. Inside the YouTube app, search for Italy.
  4. Click on 360 - right underneath the search bar.  (It must be a 360 degree movie to see it in virtual reality.)
  5. Choose which experience of Italy you would like to see.  (See some of the choices shown on this page.)
