The Library and Learning Commons began using LibInsights to track campus-based library service interactions. Initially, data was recorded for the following types of interactions: Reference, Directional, Circulation, General Support, Referral to Other Services, Technology, and Student ID.
In July 2023, the Library and Learning Commons began using the RefAnalytics tool to track librarian reference interactions and the Campus Library Services Statistics dashboard for library staff interactions. The library service points are now collected for the following options: Directional, Interactions, Technology, and Student ID. In addition, more detailed reference statistics narrow down data by READ Scale, Time, Location, Patron Type, Medium, and Appointment.
