ALL SI SESSIONS ARE BEING MOVED TO A VIRTUAL ENVIRONMENT. PLEASE SEE THE HOME PAGE FOR FURTHER INFORMATION.
The LLC offers Supplemental Instruction (SI) to support students who are enrolled in historically challenging courses. Experienced staff members, called SI Leaders, attend the lecture component of selected course sections. The SI Leaders then facilitate out-of-class review sessions for students who are enrolled in those classes. In SI sessions, students have an opportunity to work collaboratively to review key course content. One of the advantages of SI sessions is that the SI Leaders attend the class lectures, so they are familiar with the content that is currently being covered, as well as the professor's instructional approach. Studies have shown that students who participate in SI experience higher course success and retention rates. We encourage you to take advantage of this valuable academic resource. FSCJ is currently offering SI for selected math and science courses. Please see the schedule below for the sessions that are being offered at each campus location.
