On occasion, FSCJ faculty may need assistance in returning graded student work outside of the academic department office. In those instances, faculty may request that the Library and Learning Commons (LLC) at each campus assist in that process by completing the Faculty Request For Return of Graded Papers and Assignments form on this page. The process will ensure FERPA compliance in protecting student information.
The Library and Learning Commons provides support services to faculty who wish to securely return graded work to students in accordance with FERPA guidelines. Graded work will be held for thirty days after the last day of the term, at which time all work that has not been retrieved will be returned to the faculty member’s office via campus mail.
Please deliver graded work to the LLC in a clasped manila envelope. This completed form should be attached to the outside of the envelope(s). In addition, please work with your campus LLC to make special arrangements for the safe storage and return of such student work as poster presentations, arts and crafts, etc.
