Linking to Articles and Online Resources in Canvas
In order to link directly to an article/item in our database, you must first find the permalink (an URL address that remains persistent, also known as a "stable URL"). Locating a permalink depends on the database in which it is located. First, determine the database vendor by using the chart located in the second tab. Then click the corresponding vendor tab for step-by-step instructions on where the permalink is located within that particular database.
When accessing these links, if there is a prompt to log in to Open Athens, students/faculty should choose their institution (Florida State College at Jacksonville) on the right and then sign in with their FSCJ credentials, when prompted.
