Vision 2025 will support the development and distribution of high-quality, next-generation textbooks, open access learning units and open educational resources and courses that will help alleviate the escalating cost of higher education. By 2025, the MCLS will provide collections of next-generation textbooks that will be capable of covering 20% of undergraduate (high enrollment) courses. These collections alone will save students enough funds to cover the expense of the complete program.
