In MUL 2010: Music in the Humanities, students survey the history of classical music from Antiquity to the modern period, focusing on Western music. Students develop their listening skills, focus on music appreciation, and learn the basic concepts of music theory. To integrate music and humanities, music will be examined within a cultural context, focusing on the relationship between music and society.
