AMH 2093: African American History and Culture

African American History and Culture 1877 to the present.

AMH 2093 explores African American history from the end of Reconstruction to the present day. It gives special attention to how African Americans fought against segregation laws, disfranchisement, and racial violence during the civil rights movement. This course also highlights the creativity and innovation of African American artists, musicians, and writers.
