This guide provides tips and resources to FSCJ librarians create LibGuides.

This LibGuide was created specifically for FSCJ librarians. It lists standards, best practices, and recommendations to follow when creating and updating LibGuides.

We hope this LibGuide can help provide some consistency to the entire FSCJ LibGuides system. We also hope its linked reusable content can help make it easier and faster to create LibGuide content and instructional activities.

Creating LibGuides at FSCJ

Librarian Information 

Interested in adding a guide to the collection?  Follow the steps below:

  • Contact the Director of Online Library Services with your idea for a new guide.  The director will help to guide you and ensure that a guide either does not exist or is not already in development
  • Develop your guide by following the guidelines outlined in this guide for best practices
  • Once the guide is complete, contact the director to review before publishing
