Resources We Can Share

This page will highlight helpful resources that we help us stay current in our practice as well as pique our interest in new things. Have a great resource to share? Send it to me at smythen@fscj.edu and we can all benefit from your discovery!

Florida Department of State Division of Library and Information Services

2017 LLC Staff Development Day Powerpoint

This PowerPoint was presented at our inaugural LLC Staff Development Day on October 6, 2017. It illustrates some of our recent accomplishments, as well as what we are working towards.  Let us know if you have questions.  Enjoy!

NEFLIN (Northeast Florida Library Information Network)

If you don't know NEFLIN, you should!  Here's a blurb from the NEFLIN website (see https://neflin.org/)

The NEFLIN office is located in Orange Park, outside of Jacksonville. The staff consists of three MLS librarians and one administrative assistant. The organization is governed by a nine-member Board of Directors, made up of elected representatives from member libraries.

Through grant funding and membership dues, NEFLIN provides members access to training, resource sharing, research and development, partnerships for grant funding, leadership opportunities, and additional services through relationships with other organizations.

In 2018, NEFLIN celebrated its 25th anniversary as a regional library cooperative. NEFLIN currently serves 550 libraries in 24 counties throughout northeast Florida.
