This guide is designed to help you get started on your writing assignments using all the most current technologies and digital writing tools.

For the purposes of this guide, we are defining digital writing tools as any online tool that can help you write your paper. This includes mobile apps, online thesis and citation generators, and many other great online resources to make the writing of your research papers easier.

Login Help

FSCJ students have full access to library databases, e-books, audiovisual materials, and other content by logging in through MyFSCJ.

  1. Login to MyFSCJ
  2. Select Useful Links 
  3. Scroll down and select Library & Learning Commons

FSCJ students, faculty and staff can login directly to the Library Catalog (Primo VE) to have full access to library databases, e-books, audiovisual materials.

  1. Go to: https://guides.fscj.edu/llc 
  2. Select the Search Library Materials option under the Research menu option in the top header
  3. Select Sign in located in the top right
  4. Choose the Single Sign-On option
  5. Login with your myFSCJ username and password

 

 

FSCJ students, faculty and staff can search for the library's paid subscription access to articles and other resources by going directly to Google Scholar.

  1. Go to Google Scholar: https://scholar.google.com/
  2. Select the Settings option from the top left menu
  3. Select Library Links and search for FSCJ
  4. Check the box for FSCJ and begin your search with Google Scholar
  5. You'll see FSCJ content displayed on the right of the search results
  6. Once you select the article, you may need to login with your myFSCJ username and password
