Research Help

This guide is a tutorial covering the basics of the academic research process.

Library Catalog

The library catalog is the best place to begin searching for FSCJ resources on your topic. Results from a library catalog search will include physical items from our 7 campus and center locations as well as electronic items such as eBooks, eAudiobooks, database article, streaming videos, and more.

The two videos below demonstrate how to search for materials in the online library catalog.

Filtering Search Results from the Library Catalog

Since the library catalog houses so much information, the number of search results you get for your topic can be overwhelming.

Use the filter on the left of the screen to narrow your search based on specific criteria such as "Resource Type", "Publication Date", Location, and many more.
