This is a selective list of books, Ebooks, videos and websites about the German language and culture. To search for more titles in German or about German, you can also use the "Search FSCJ Library Catalog" box below or visit the German Foreign Language Lab LibGuide. 

To search for more titles in German, start with the Books & Ebooks tab in the FSCJ Library Catalog. Type a keyword to describe the kind of book you want to find, e.g. Fiction, Biography, Science. Then, narrow your search to Books in the Library for print only or Format: Online Resources for E-books, and limit your search to Language: German.

  • German Studies Web
    From the Western European Studies Section of the Association of College and Research Libraries. The site provide access to scholarly resources in German Studies, including all German-speaking countries. Resources have been selected and evaluated by subject specialists, and annotated when necessary.
  • Goethe-Institut
    Worldwide offices, programs, and resources for the diffusion of learning, teaching, and experiencing German language and culture. The Goethe-Institut is a cultural institution of the Federal Republic of Germany. Searchable website; RSS feeds available.
