Gloria Mcilwain, since the 1980s, lectured, gave demonstrations of Tut and interviews to newspapers and TV stations. She wrote a book and an academic article. Her sharing the language is why the overwhelming majority of people know about it today. We provide resources because she worked so hard to share it and keep it alive. We ask that you discover your truth, conduct your own research and be the steward of your learning of this beautiful language. Welcome to the world of Tut! This book will teach you how to speak, understand, read and write the Tut language. With the use of the knowledge in this book, in a very short time, you will be able to speak a new language that is not only beautiful and majestic, but also very versatile. It can be used for many different purposes. You can talk with family and friends, speak in code, play games or just have fun. Tut has been known under many different names over the centuries. Tut, King Tut, Tutahash, Double Dutch, Tutnese, Yukkish, A-Bub-Cin-Dud and Guitar Language. It has seen its popularity ebb and flow as many times as it has different names. Yet, no matter how many different names it may have, one endearing feature of Tut that doesn't change is that once it is discovered by a group of people; they hold onto it tightly and don't let go. In this book, we will not only teach you the Tut language, we will also teach you the history of the language and how you can help keep this beautiful language alive. According to authors Gloria McIlwain and Maya Angelou, Tut has been used by Blacks in the US since the late 1700's. McIlwain was taught Tut by her mother after she overheard her aunt and mom talking in a strange but slightly familiar language on one of her aunt's visits to their home. Her mother told her that her family spoke it and it was passed down from generation to generation. This book will be passing it along to you. Let's get started!
