This is an expansion of Catan (Settlers of Catan). Traders & Barbarians is independent of the Seafarers and Cities & Knights expansions, but can be combined with them. This expansion has four variants and it has five different scenarios with increasing difficulty. The game developers recommend playing the scenarios in sequential order starting with "Fishermen of Catan" and ending with the more complex game “Traiders & Barbarians”. One of the variants allows you to play Catan with two people.
