This text contains basic information about personal computing, as well as the Microsoft Suite of products for offices including Word, Excel, Access, and Powerpoint.

An introduction to creating electronic presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint 2010. This book was created by the BCcampus ABT collective as part of the BC Open Textbook project. While it focuses specifically on Microsoft PowerPoint, it does include principles that can be applied to any presentation software.

This textbook was written for a community college introductory course in spreadsheets utilizing Microsoft Excel. While the figures shown utilize Excel 2019, the textbook was written to be applicable to other versions of Excel as well. The book introduces new users to the basics of spreadsheets and is appropriate for students in any major who have not used Excel before. This textbook includes instructions for Excel for Mac also.

This text is a free introductory text that introduces MS Access and relational database design. The motivation is to support a second-year course on database systems which, to the student, is either a service course providing an introduction to database concepts, or, as a prerequisite for more advanced study in the field.

This book is written as an introductory text, meant for those with little or no experience with computers or information systems. While sometimes the descriptions can get a little bit technical, every effort has been made to convey the information essential to understanding a topic while not getting bogged down in detailed terminology or esoteric discussions.
