Military Affairs specialist Cockburn discusses SDI (Strategic Defense Initiative) or Star Wars, as it was sometimes called. Cockburn argues against SDI, arguing that it's too expensive, will lead to greater nuclear proliferation, only protects against one type of nuclear missile, and, finally, will threaten other nations with its inherent offensive capability.
