How to Run a Collection Report

One way to pull a list of items from your collection is through running an Advanced Search in Alma. A report of this nature could also be run in Alma Analytics but this route would be faster and involve less configuration.

1. To begin, click on the magnifying class icon on the top left of the screen and change the Search in option to Physical items. From there, navigate to the Physical item section and click on the down arrow. Scroll through the list until you see the option for Location.

2. From there, keep the second drop down menu to Equals and click on the third drop down menu, navigate to your location and select the preferred location (s). You can select more than one if you so choose or click on the first result under the location to Select All.

 

 

 

3. Double check your search string and click on the Search button.

4. Your results screen will display the total number of results. On the left-hand side of the screen is the  Facets section where you can narrow by Item Material Type or Process Type. If you wish to export this list, click on the icon on the right hand side of the screen, circled below. This will give you the option to Export to Excel.
